The twelve (12) brand-new adjustable hospital beds were solely funded by the MP as part of efforts to resource and retool health facilities in the constituency to improve access to quality healthcare and enhance the wellbeing of residents. He noted that he would not relent in his efforts to bring development to the people.

The donation adds to several health-related initiatives undertaken by the MP, including free registration and renewal of the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) for residents, construction of health facilities, and the provision of three-unit, 30-bed capacity wards for CHPS compounds. The MP had earlier made similar donations to other health facilities, including Ayigbe and Buoku CHPS compounds.

Addressing the chiefs, people of Subinso No. 2, and health workers during the presentation, the MP reiterated his commitment to prioritising the health needs of the people. He explained that the donation formed part of efforts to complement government health policies such as the Mahama Cares Health Programme and improvements to the NHIS under the leadership of President H.E. John Dramani Mahama.

The Head of the Subinso No. 2 Health Centre, Mr. Tei Solomon, expressed appreciation for the MP’s support but appealed for additional staff nurses to be posted to the facility to enhance service delivery.

The chiefs and elders also expressed gratitude to the MP for earlier providing two new mechanised boreholes for the community. They further appealed for the construction of the Subinso No. 2–Manse road, expansion of drains and channels at the Subinso Market, establishment of a secondary technical school, job creation for the youth, and repairs to defects on the newly constructed maternity block.
