The reason for this visitation was to get the total number of Zoomlion workers who are still at post working for the municipality since January 2025 after the news.

In a brief discussion with them, the MCE wanted to know the total number of workers who are still at post and to see how the municipality can pay them from January to June and to select the hard working ones for employment at the Municipal Assembly.

The workers visited were very grateful for the good news from the Municipal Chief Executive in their interaction with him.

They used the opportunity to outline some challenges they are facing such as tools for working, uniforms, and tricycle to enable them work proactively in the Municipality.

They also appealed to the MCE to help communicate with the President of the Republic of Ghana to pay salaries owned them by the previous government.

Areas visited were; the municipal daily market, STC ward, Ntankoro Station, Tamale Station, the weekly Market and Babator and other communities.
