Krowor MCE commissions 3-storey 18-unit classroom block at Nungua SHS

The 3-storey 18-units block with auxiliary facilities and 3-storey 800-bed capacity Boys’ dormitory with 2 teachers’ apartments, 14-units cubicle toilets and 14-units cubicle bathroom with an open ironing space for Nungua Senior High School (NUNSEC) in the Krowor Municipality.
Speaking with Ghanadistricts.com, Mr. Joshua Nii Bortey stated that the initiative formed part of efforts to address the many challenges that confront the educational sector in his municipality and to ensure that the government's target for education was met.
Commenting on the construction of the project, he said the project would provide a more comfortable place for the pupils as the current ones are not able to meet the needs of the large number of pupils.
He also disclosed that the school projects are funded by the Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund).
The MCE expressed keen interest in the regular maintenance of the school facilities and tasked school authorities to take good care of the facilities.
The district education director showed appreciation to the government and the Assembly as a whole for their dedication and contribution to the education sector.
