The initiative forms part of efforts to empower young women economically and promote entrepreneurship, particularly within the Agriculture to Agribusiness to Entrepreneurship component of the project.

Addressing the beneficiaries, the Municipal Chief Executive, Seth Serwornoo Banini, encouraged them to make effective use of the items received to grow their businesses and improve their livelihoods. He further urged them to take advantage of the opportunity to become self-reliant and contribute to job creation within the municipality.

Hon. Banini emphasized that the initiative is a significant step toward reducing unemployment among the youth and strengthening the local economy through entrepreneurship.

Beneficiaries of the programme expressed their heartfelt appreciation to the Ghana Enterprises Agency, Mastercard Foundation, and the Municipal Assembly for the support. They noted that the start-up kits would go a long way in helping them establish and expand their businesses.

The BizBox Project continues to serve as a key intervention aimed at equipping young people, especially women, with practical skills and resources to thrive in business and contribute meaningfully to national development.
