Before her Appointment, she contested the position of Deputy Upper West Regional Women’s Organizer and served actively in the spheres of the National Democratic Congress(NDC) Party.

NOMINATION OF MUNICIPAL CHIEF EXECUTIVE

I write to inform you that in accordance with Article 243 of the 1992 Constitution and the Local Governance Act, 2016 (Act 936) as amended by Local Governance (Amendment) Act, 2017 (Act 940), the President of the Republic has nominated Soyelleh Cecilia as the Municipal Chief Executive for the Lawra Municipal Assembly, subject to approval by the Municipal Assembly.
