The Medical Superintendent, Dr. Gunguni M. Daniel on behalf of his team expressed gratitude to the MCE for the visit since it’s been a while they witnessed such visit.

Briefing the Municipal Chief Executive, he noted that management and the entire staff of the facility are working hard to serve the people but they are faced with lot of challenges which he called the Chief Executive to address the challenges.

He outlined some of the challenges to be; lack of Anastasia machine, Phototherapy machine    inadequate space, beds, etc.

According to him, they are sometimes compelled to discharge patients prematurely just to create space for others and refer most cases as well.

Mr. Gunguni also appealed to the MCE to come to the aid of the community to complete the 3-storey building which was started by the community two years ago for the facility.

On his Mr. Kwasi Asante-Boateng (ESQ), encouraged them to continue doing their best to serve the people as he has taken notice of all the challenges which he will brief the Member of Parliament for them to join forces to help address the challenges to enable the facility operate effectively and efficiently.  

The MCE later toured the facility to witness some of the challenges himself.
