Kwadaso gets educational boost with GetFund projects

The beneficiary schools will receive the following facilities, Methodist Technical Institute a two-storey administration block, a two-storey classroom block, a two-storey dormitory, and two 12-seater modern toilet facilities, Agric Nzema Senior High School a two-storey classroom block with mechanized borehole and reservoir, and a dining hall with a fully furnished kitchen and Yaa Asantewaa Girls Senior High School a three-storey 18-unit classroom block and a two-storey dormitory
In an interview with Ghanadistricts.com, Mr. Eric Asibey expressed gratitude to President John Dramani Mahama for driving development across the country and also highlighted the importance of quality education in shaping the future of the youth and urged the contractor to adhere to project specifications and timelines.
The MCE again emphasized the need to engage local skilled labor, creating employment opportunities for the youth in the municipality. "We want to see the involvement of our local people in this project, and we appeal to the contractor to prioritize the use of local resources," he said.
Mr. Asibey added that the projects, funded by GetFund, are part of efforts to improve educational infrastructure and enhance the learning environment for students in the municipality.
The projects are expected to be completed within 24 months, providing much-needed facilities for the schools. The initiative is seen as a boost to the educational sector in Kwadaso, enhancing access to quality education for students.
