The initiative, officially titled "Consultancy Services for Feasibility Studies, Design and Construction Supervision of Small-Town Pipe Systems (STPS) in Karaga District, and Mion District in Northern Region", is being fully funded from Global Communities/USAID's budgetary allocation dedicated to Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) infrastructure in Ghana.
What the Project Covers
The assignment is comprehensive and spans the full project lifecycle. The selected firm or consultant will be responsible for:
Feasibility Studies to assess the technical, financial and environmental viability of the proposed pipe systems.
Design of the Small-Town Pipe Systems tailored to the specific needs of each beneficiary community.
Communities in Line for Transformation
Two communities have been earmarked for this life-changing intervention.
In the Northern Region's Karaga District, the community of Tamaligu will benefit from the new pipe system.
In the Northern Region's Mion District, the combined communities of Nalongni and Nadundo will receive the infrastructure upgrade.
