The project aims to create decent jobs for Ghanaian youth by providing training, mentorship, and start-up kits to beneficiaries to encourage entrepreneurship and improve the well-being of society.

According to Mr. Abubakar Siddique Imoru, the Atebubu-Amantin Municipal Manager of the Business Resource Centre, the distribution of the start-up kits for cereal and fruit processing marks an important phase in the entrepreneurship journey of the beneficiaries.

“These kits are not just tools; they are symbols of empowerment, providing the necessary resources to transform dreams into reality,” he added.

Mr. Imoru expressed his appreciation to the Mastercard Foundation for its partnership and commitment to empowering Ghanaian youth.

The Atebubu-Amantin Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr. Joseph Tang, extolled the benefits of self-employment and urged beneficiaries to make good use of the opportunity.

The Atebubu-Amantin Constituency Chairman of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), Alhaji Hamidu Bukari, urged beneficiaries to put the skills acquired to the benefit of others to ensure the well-being of the larger society.

Each beneficiary received a weighing machine, gloves, apron, overall, blender, and a sealing machine.
