Healthcare Boost for Biakoye: DCE Hon. Eric Oppong Leads Donation of Hospital Beds and Printers

Healthcare delivery in the Biakoye District has received a significant boost following the donation of hospital beds and printers to the Biakoye Health Directorate at Worawora Hospital on February 23, 2026.

The presentation was made in collaboration with the District Chief Executive, Hon. Eric Oppong, as part of efforts to strengthen health service delivery and improve operational efficiency across health facilities in the district.

The beneficiary institutions include Worawora Hospital, Tapa Abotoase Health Centre, Nkonya Wurupong Health Centre, Kwamekrom Health Centre, Tapa Amanfrom CHPS Compound, and Nkonya Asakyiri CHPS Compound.

The donation is expected to enhance patient care by improving comfort and accommodation within wards, while the printers will facilitate smoother administrative processes, record-keeping, and daily operations at the various facilities.

Speaking at the brief ceremony, stakeholders emphasized that the intervention demonstrates a strong commitment to improving healthcare infrastructure and supporting frontline health workers in delivering quality services.
