The beneficiary institutions include Mozano Senior High School, which received 400 mono desks and 74 bunk beds; College of Music Senior High School, 200 mono desks; Gomoa Mampong Technical Institute, 100 mono desks; and Gomoa Senior High Technical School, 300 mono desks.

The intervention forms part of a broader initiative aimed at improving teaching and learning conditions in schools across the Gomoa West District.

Under the initiative, a total of 3,000 mono desks, 100 dual desks, 100 bunk beds and 70,000 exercise books are expected to be distributed to schools within the district.

Speaking during the presentation, Hon. Richard Gyan-Mensah encouraged students to take their studies seriously, maintain discipline and develop strong character traits that would enable them to succeed in their future careers and contribute positively to society.

He also commended the heads of institutions, teachers and other staff for their dedication and commitment to nurturing the next generation.

The initiative is expected to help address furniture shortages in schools and create a more conducive environment for effective teaching and learning.
