He highlighted that the 24-hour economy policy, envisioned by the President, is a crucial initiative aimed at transforming the lives of Ghanaians.

In his remarks, the DCE underscored the potential of this policy to create new opportunities and enhance economic activities across the nation. He believes that embracing this vision will lead to change in the standard of living for many citizens.

He said Adaklu is glad to embrace the policy because “it is going to provide jobs for the people of my district. Just imagine what may be eight people used to do, this time around 24 people would have the same opportunity and that is the multiplication of jobs and employment opportunities for the people”, he stated.

Jerry Yao Ameko further explained that the implementation of this policy will pave the way for new business ventures. He noted that with markets operating throughout the day, residents will have access to a variety of goods, including gari, honey, and animal market products.

He highlighted the unique features of the local animal market, and expressed a vision to elevate it to a meat processing facility. He stated that with the implementation of the 24-hour market, residents will have the convenience of accessing quality services at any time of the day.

This continuous market activity is expected to stimulate local economic growth and provide a broader range of services and products for the community, he added.
