The pupils, 1,137 males and 1,137 females, are from 72 public and 21 private schools.
Mr Peter Aseidu, Bia West Examination coordinator, in an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA), said the Examination would be written in eleven centres with eleven supervisors, six Assistant supervisors and 99 invigilators.
He advised parents and guardians to ensure that pupils were adequately catered for since most of them would be traveling from their communities to the examination centres which are a bit far from their schools.
The Examination Coordinator asked teachers and school authorities to monitor the candidates during the period of the examination.
He advised the candidates to desist from examination malpractices.
