DCE Cuts Sod for Fire Station, School Renovation at Kodie

The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Afigya Kwabre South, Madam Patricia Pearl Ankrah has cut the sod for the construction of a fire station and a sanitation facility at the Kodie Methodist School.

The ceremony was attended by traditional authorities, the District Education Director, Mr. David Akomea Asokwa, fire service personnel from Bremang, staff of the Afigya Kwabre South District Assembly, Assembly Members, and Unit Committee Members.

Madam Ankrah explained that the initiative marked her first Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) project in the district. She disclosed that the project would include a fire service station for the Afigya Kwabre South District, a 20-seater toilet facility for the Kodie community, as well as the renovation and fencing of the Kodie Methodist School.

She called on residents and stakeholders to collaborate and support the successful completion of the project.

The District Education Director, Mr. David Akomea Asokwa, noted that the project would significantly boost development in the Afigya Kwabre South District and expressed appreciation to Mr. PKB for his commitment to undertaking the initiative.

The Krontihene of Kodie also urged residents to support the project to ensure its success. He further expressed gratitude to the DCE and Mr. PKB for bringing the development to Kodie to enhance growth in the township and prayed for its successful completion.

Mr. PKB, the investor, thanked stakeholders for their support and assured the community of his commitment to delivering the project successfully, while appealing for continued cooperation and prayers.
