The purpose of the inspection tour was, among others, to assess the scope and status of work, monitor project execution in line with design specifications, and interact with contractors to ensure adherence to timelines and contract duration for completion within schedule.

The engagement also served as an opportunity for the MP and MCE to officially introduce themselves and familiarise with the contractors to enhance communication and support for the successful execution of the projects.

One of the contractors on site, Chinglin China International Construction Company Ltd, outlined its section of work and explained its methodological plan for executing the project to meet set timelines.

The Project Foreman, Mr. Joseph Akomani, expressed the company's commitment to delivering professional and quality work to ensure value for money for the people of the Municipality.

The MP and MCE commended the contractors for their prompt mobilisation to site and assured them of their commitment to engage regularly, address emerging concerns where necessary, and provide the needed support to ensure successful completion of the projects.

Wenchi has benefited significantly from the Big Push Infrastructure Development Agenda, particularly road projects, including the Wenchi–Techiman, Wenchi–Wa, and Wenchi–Nsawkaw–Sampa road projects.

The Big Push Agenda is a special infrastructure development initiative rolled out by the Government, led by the President of the Republic, H.E. John Dramani Mahama, to bridge infrastructure gaps across the country and accelerate development in transportation and other sectors to boost productivity and economic growth.
