The initiative forms part of the MP’s commitment to promoting education and reducing the financial challenges faced by students pursuing higher education.

The beneficiaries were selected from a wide range of tertiary institutions across the country, including universities, technical universities, agricultural colleges, as well as teacher and nursing training colleges.

The financial assistance, which ranged between GH¢2,000 and GH¢5,000 depending on the students’ level and needs, was presented on behalf of the MP by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Constituency Treasurer, Mr. Francis Obeng, during a brief ceremony.

Mr. Obeng noted that the support reflects the MP’s dedication to improving academic performance and investing in the future of the youth in the KEEA Constituency. He urged the beneficiaries to remain disciplined and committed to their studies in order to make good use of the opportunity.

On behalf of the beneficiaries, Mr. James Afful, a medical student at the University of Cape Coast, expressed appreciation to the MP for the timely intervention. He said the support would significantly help them cater for their educational expenses and described the gesture as a clear demonstration of the MP’s commitment to advancing tertiary education and empowering young people in the constituency.
