The development marks a major boost for emergency response and fire safety services within the municipality, following sustained efforts by the MCE to ensure the rehabilitation and return of the fire tender to active service.

The fire tender reportedly broke down during the previous administration, and had left the municipality with limited capacity to effectively respond to fire outbreaks and other emergencies.

Through the commitment and leadership of Hon. Philibert Selorm Fummey, the necessary interventions were made to repair and reactivate the vehicle to support the Ghana National Fire Service in protecting lives and property across the municipality.

Residents and stakeholders have welcomed the development, describing it as timely and crucial in strengthening emergency preparedness and public safety in Nsawam Adoagyiri.

The restoration of the fire tender forms part of the Assembly’s broader efforts to improve essential public services and ensure the safety and wellbeing of residents within the municipality.
