Ga East: “Area mama” highlighted reasons to be retained
Assemblywoman for Taifa North Patience Abogyewaa Ofosuhene, also known as "Area Mama," has highlighted several initiatives aimed at fostering the development of her electoral area within the Ga East Municipality of the Greater Accra Region.

She emphasized that she addressed the issue of a stream at Allah Allah that had been turned into a dumping site, causing disturbances to the local community, particularly during heavy rains. She worked diligently alongside the youth to clear the refuse from the stream, transforming the area and mitigating the environmental impact.

The Assemblywoman said her key priority is empowering vulnerable women through facilitating access to loans with low interest rates from banks. She has already assisted approximately 80 out of 150 registered women in accessing these financial resources, thereby supporting their endeavors in trade and entrepreneurship.

As an active participant in Assembly meetings, she has been vocal in advocating for the implementation of major projects within the Electoral Area. Her proactive engagement and lobbying efforts have contributed to the consideration and approval of significant developmental initiatives.

She however used medium to call upon philanthropists to contribute to the community's progress and urged constituents to actively participate in the upcoming elections, emphasizing her candidacy as the top choice, listed as number one (1) on the ballot paper for the December 19, 2023, elections.

Assemblywoman Patience Abogyewaa Ofosuhene has demonstrated a strong commitment to environmental stewardship, economic empowerment, effective representation, and community engagement, positioning herself as a dedicated advocate for the well-being and advancement of her electoral area.
