Ga North Municipal Assembly Launches Initiative to Modernize Website and Improve Public Access to Information.

The Ga North Municipal Assembly has begun steps to revive and modernize its official website.

This follows renewed calls by the General Assembly for a more active and accessible online platform.

At recent General Assembly sittings, several Members stressed the need for the Assembly to upgrade its digital presence to reflect ongoing projects and make information on local governance easier for residents to access.

According to them, in recent times a functional website is now essential for transparency and public engagement.

Acting on this, the Municipal Co-ordinating Director, Mr. Joseph K. Armah, has written to all Assembly Members requesting short personal profiles for inclusion on the updated website.

The directive, issued on behalf of the Municipal Chief Executive and dated 27th November 2025, is part of efforts to present clear and accurate information on the Assembly’s leadership.

The request to members include submitting their full name, electoral area, and occupation to the Municipal Information System (MIS) Unit before the deadline of 9th December 2025.

The Assembly says the revamped website will help the public to follow its activities more closely, while strengthening information dissemination and improving general communication between the Assembly and the communities it serves.
