Tano South Assembly Targets Revenue Growth, Healthcare Improvement and Road Expansion

The Municipal Chief Executive for the Tano South Municipal Assembly, Emmanuel Kwame Frimpong, has outlined an ambitious development agenda focused on boosting revenue generation, improving healthcare services, and expanding road infrastructure across the municipality.

Speaking on the Assembly’s strategic direction, the MCE emphasized the need to strengthen internally generated revenue to support development initiatives aimed at improving the living standards of residents. He added that the Assembly is determined to position Tano South as a centre of economic growth and social advancement through the prudent use of available resources and investment in people-centred projects.

On healthcare delivery, Mr. Kwame Frimpong disclosed plans to enhance health infrastructure, improve access to quality medical services, and intensify public health education within communities. According to him, building a healthy population remains essential to driving productivity and sustainable development. He further revealed that key health facilities would be upgraded, while outreach programmes targeting vulnerable groups would also receive support.

As part of efforts to improve transportation and stimulate economic activities, the Assembly is also prioritizing major road expansion and rehabilitation projects. He stressed that improving road networks would enhance connectivity, facilitate trade, and create an enabling environment for businesses to thrive.

He therefore appealed to residents, the private sector, and development partners to support the Assembly’s vision, noting that collective participation is crucial to achieving lasting progress and prosperity for the municipality.
