In a message of appreciation signed by Naa Alhaji Yussif Abubakari Wiah I, the Paramount Chief of Manwe, the Council highlighted recent interventions in education and road infrastructure as clear evidence of visionary leadership and commitment to development.

According to a statement from the office of Dr Jasaw, the Council praised the commissioning and handover of a newly constructed three-unit classroom block in Manwe.

The Council noted that the contractor completed the project within four months, despite the initial eight-month timeline, and described the quality of work as impressive.

The statement also acknowledged the donation of 1,000 pieces of school furniture to the District Directorate of Education in Manwe, describing the gesture as transformative and beneficial to students in the area.

It said the furniture would provide pupils with a more comfortable and conducive learning environment.

The Council further expressed appreciation to Dr Jasaw for releasing GH75,000 from his share of the MP’s Common Fund to the Wa East District Assembly to support road improvement works in the district.

According to the statement, the funds were used to fuel grader machines and facilitate the opening of critical roads to improve accessibility across communities in the district.

“As traditional leaders, we take to heart the call to ensure these facilities are properly cared for,” the statement said.

“We pledge our full support in maintaining these assets so they may continue to serve their intended purpose for the benefit of our students and the entire constituency,” it added.

The statement noted that the Council described the continued collaboration between the MP and the DCE on education and infrastructure as impactful and beneficial to the people of Wa East.

It added that the interventions would contribute significantly to securing a brighter future for children and improving living conditions in the area.
