Mr. Mumuni Isaac Dramani, DCE for the Sawla-Tuna-Kalba District Assembly has handed over a newly constructed boy’s dormitory block to authorities of the Sawla Senior High school.

“The boys dormitory block, which we are handing over, is one of the numerous interventions we have made in the district to make it easy for our youth to have access to education,” he said.

The block estimated at GH¢99,000.00 would to a large extent help improve the conditions in the school whiles creating a meaningful environment for more students to be admitted.

Mr. Dramani in his handing over speech announced plans adopted by the Assemly to turn the school into a model one as well as efforts to renovate the teachers’ bungalow to accommodate more staff.

The District Chief Executive urged authorities of the school to work together and maintain discipline among the students to enhance academic performance.
