SAWLA: Assembly moves to support nurses’ accommodation

The Sawla-Tuna-Kalba district assembly has indicated plans to construct semi-detached nurses’ quarters for nurses at Sawla.

The Sawla-Tuna-Kalba district assembly has indicated plans to construct semi-detached nurses’ quarters for nurses at Sawla.

The move yet to be awarded for implementation is expected to alleviate the pressure in accommodation issues and assist improve the lots of nurses at the district.

This came to light in a recent assembly meeting held in the area at Sawla, the district capital.

DCE for the area, Isaac Mumuni Dramani who highlighted such project in his address delivered in the meeting maintained that the move was necessitated to gradually improve on housing facilities across-board.

He said the project would be funded amidst other related projects through the District Development Facility (DDF).
