Asokwa Municipal Assembly Inspects Multi-Purpose Building Project to Accelerate Completion

The Asokwa Municipal Assembly, in collaboration with the project consultant and contractor, has undertaken a site inspection of the Asokwa Multi-Purpose Building to assess the progress of work and chart the way forward for the completion of the project.

The inspection formed part of the Assembly’s efforts to ensure that all outstanding requirements are addressed to facilitate the release of funds under the Ghana Secondary Cities Support Programme (SCSP) for the completion of the facility.

During the visit, officials reviewed the current state of construction and discussed critical measures needed to advance the project to its final stages. The engagement also provided an opportunity for the consultant and contractor to brief the Assembly on progress made, existing challenges, and the steps required to meet project objectives.

Assembly officials reaffirmed their commitment to ensuring that all necessary processes and conditions are fulfilled to secure the required funding and expedite completion of the building.


The Asokwa Multi-Purpose Building is expected to serve as an important public facility that will support administrative activities, community engagements, and other socio-economic development initiatives within the municipality.
