BIRIM S: DCE reappointed, promises to initiate more projects
District Chief Executive for Birim South, Nana Baffuor Takyi said he is elated by his reappointment by the president to continue to serve the district in his current capacity.

District Chief Executive for Birim South, Nana Baffuor Takyi said he is elated by his reappointment by the President to continue to serve the district in his current capacity.
He is among 7 other chief executives in the Eastern Region that have so far been reappointed out of 8 names for the region with the 8th, Paul Dadzie Aboagye for Birim North being a newappointment.
Those reappointed so far include George Opare Addo for Akuapem North, Emmanuel Atta Twum for Atiwa, Andrews Sodah for Yilo Krobo, Samuel Asamoah for Kwahu East, Samuel Fleistcher Kwabi for Suhum, and Joseph Tetteh Angmor for Upper Manya Krobo.
Nana Baffuor Takyi said working together with all stakeholders in the district over the years has been successful as the assembly recorded some impressive performance development and promised to build on those good relations to solve the problems at the district.
“Being a new district, we are faced with many challenges and we have to work extra hard to mitigated these challenges for our citizens”, he stated.
He said, he will ensure all outstanding projects are completed on time to pave way for new ones to be started. These will mostly be in area of extending electricity, water to deprived communities, and continue with efforts at improving school infrastructure.
