The Member of Parliament for the Achiase Constituency in the Eastern Region, Amoah Kwasi Robert is assisting Akyem Osroase community to construct a clinic that would help in improving health delivery in the area.

The MP has provided a number of bags of cement, sand, and gravels towards the project. He disclosed that the clinic is a community self help project initiated through the collaboration of the community and himself (MP) and commended the people to come out with more of such initiates towards improving the well-being of the people.

The MP is also continuing a similar project which was started by his predecessor but was abandoned at Akyem Anomase.

According to Mr. Amoah unavailability of health posts at these communities poses threats to peoples lives especially for women who may find themselves in labour. He said the situation where health issues that require urgent attention have to be taken to far places should be avoided by making health accessibility easier. This he noted is his motivation to invest in the health sector.
