ATEBUBU: Late former MP laid to rest
The late former Member of Parliament for the Atebubu-Amantin Constituency, Mr. Emmanuel Owusu Mainu was laid to rest at Amantin last Saturday.

The late former Member of Parliament for the Atebubu-Amantin Constituency, Mr. Emmanuel Owusu Mainu was laid to rest at Amantin last Saturday.
Mr. Mainu who was a two time Member of Parliament on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress NDC from 2005-2013, died on Wednesday February 19, 2014 at the 37 military hospital in Accra at age 64.
Teeming mourners and sympathizers from all walks of life were at the funeral to pay their last respect to the former MP who lay in a glass casket adorned with the NDC colors of red, green, black and white.
Dignitaries including former colleague MPs, and members of the existing Parliament were around to bid farewell to their departed friend.
A high powered delegation from the Brong Ahafo regional NDC led by the regional chairman Barima Atuahene which included Members of Parliament, Deputy Ministers, DCEs, constituency executives and other leading members were there to mourn with the bereaved family.
He is survived by two wives and fourteen children.
