Drivers and other users of the Keta and Abor Lorry stations have their mobility improved following addition of new facilities at the stations.

The District Assembly has spent about three hundred and twenty-one thousand, four hundred and twenty-five and thirty-eight pesewa (GHs321, 425.38) from its share of the Urban Development Grant (UDG) in constructing and paving the two lorry stations.

The constructions also include gutters and culverts to allow free flow of water to prevent flooding at the stations.

Inadequate parking space and poor nature of the lorry stations have long been major concerns to users resulting in some drivers parking of the edges of the roads creating congestions. But the completion of works on these stations will seize the wrongful parking.

In another development, a 4 No. open market shed at the cost of GHs86, 455.30, has been completed at the Anloga Market to address the high demand for sheds by traders at the market. It is a measure the assembly has employed to provide conducive atmosphere for doing business at the market thus attracting more people from other places to the market.
