MADINA: MCE assures of completion of Madina burnt market

Portions of the Madina market which got burnt at the later parts of last year is being re-constructed to bring relief to the people in the area.

Portions of the Madina market which got burnt at the later parts of last year is being re-constructed to bring relief to the people in the area.

Muncipal Chief Executive for the La-Nkwantanaang Madina Municipal Assembly, Mr. Franklin P. Anku who informed to Ghanadistricts.com about the project said currently the Assembly is working on the market sheds which were nearing completion.

He said the project had been necessitated by the need to help improve the economic status of the people in the area as well as provide them with the necessary project to make Madina which is the capital of the La-Nkwantanaang Madina Municipal Assembly to befit the status of the Municipality.

In a related development, Mr. Anku said he will make sure road projects were prioritized as well as sanitation and education.
