Alhaji Lateef Madjoub, has been confirmed by Assembly members of the Adansi North District Assembly as the DCE for the area from now to 2016.

Mr. Eric Opoku, Ashanti Regional Minister, who was enthused about the peaceful conduct of the exercise, commended the assembly members for their sense of maturity.

He, however, reminded them that no human being was infallible, and that when mistakes come, they should find the best way to address them to help push the municipality forward.

The Regional Minister was particular about the introduction of party politics into the business of the assemblies, and warned: “Party, party issues at assembly is over; all should be concerned with the development of the municipality.”

The DCE for his  part thanked members for endorsing him.
