In line with the President’s vision to enhance access and quality of education across the country the Adansi North District Assembly has taken delivery of 1,600 school uniforms for onward distribution to pupils in the district.

The initiative is in fulfillment of a campaign promise by the president during the 2008 electioneering.

In an interview with Ghanadistricts.com the District Chief Executive for the area   Alhaji Latif Majdoub noted that the move is expected to increase the already swollen enrolment figures in the district.

According to him the assembly is making efforts to drastically improve on the results of BECE candidates in the area in this year’s exam as they investigate the cause of the mass failure registered by students from the area last year.

Still on education the assembly has already distributed over 7000 dual desks to the 81 public school in the district.
