About forty (40) brand new motorbikes have been presented to Assembly members in the Adansi North District Assembly as part of efforts to improve the welfare of the legislators in the area.

The bikes will to a large extent help to improve the conditions of the legislators as well as to make local governance a household name within the district.

Alhaji Latif Majdoub, Chief Executive for the Adansi North District who affirmed this in an interview with Ghanadistricts.com alluded that the bikes will serve as a source of relief to the assembly members in their quest to discharge their duties effectively.

“It will enable them have access to first hand information in the various electoral areas,” he indicated.

Alhaji Mojdoub who was full of praises to the government for the gesture believed that the motorbikes would also facilitate the mobility of members, to and from assembly meetings noting that punctuality of members will also be an added advantage.
