Alhaji Latif Majdoud has been maintained by President John Dramani Mahama as Chief Executive for the Adansi North District Assembly.

He was nominated by Late President Mills of blessed memory, in 2009 when the NDC government took over the administration of the country.

He has since then worked tirelessly in facilitating development in the district to an appreciable level to enable the people in the area be at par with other developed areas.

Some five achievements he had chalked since 2009 includes:

• Completed a new health centre at Fomena
• Executed a new maternity block for Adansi-Dompoase
• Added 10 more schools to  the school feeding Program
• Distributed 7,000 school furniture
• Initiated a small town water project at Akrokerri

He is however expected to be confirmed by the Assembly within 21 days.
