In a bid to boost the standard of education in the area, about 7,000 mono and dual desk have been distributed to selected schools in the Adansi North District in the Ashanti Region.

The facility estimated at GHs 31,000 is supposed to benefit 87 primary schools and 57 Junior High Schools within the District.

Declaring this to Ghanadistricts.com in an interview, the District Chief Executive for Adansi North, Alhaji Latif Majdoub expressed confidence the facilities will encourage school attendance and bring comfort to the students.

The DCE also hinted that 3 separate toilet facilities are under construction in deprived schools to improve the level of sanitation in the area.
