The St. Theresa Primary school located at Tongo in the Talensi-Nabdam district has received a standard 3 unit classroom structure meant to enhance effective teaching and learning in the school.

This is part of strategies by government to beef up infrastructure in the local and deprived schools of the country, so it could help bridge the gap between the underprivileged schools in the hinterlands and the urban schools.

The facility has duly been completed and handed over to authorities of the school, Madame Vivian Anafo, the DCE for the area revealed in an interview with Ghanadistricts.com.

She therefore noted that the provision of this new school block will relatively go a long way to assist the school in getting rid of congestion which might pose as a challenge in promoting quality education.  

According to her this move is also one of the benchmarks in achieving the “Better Ghana” agenda programme in the area.
