The Assemblyman for Aberful Samsamso in the Awutu Senya District, Humbertson A. Donkoh has appealed to the assembly to redirect attention to the extension of electricity to some communities in his electoral area which has recently been abandoned.

He said the current administration continued the project after it was abandoned by the erstwhile Kuffour administration, stressing that the project has again been neglected some few months back due to lack of funds.

Mr. Donkoh further noted that material such as low tension poles, cables, bolts and nuts, transformers among others had long been acquired and wondered why work should still be abandoned after government had spent much in procuring these materials.

He therefore appealed to appropriate authorities to connect Aberful, Samsamso and its surrounding communities to the national grid.
