The Obrachire D.A Primary School has taken delivery of about 120 dual desks from the Awutu Senya District Assembly in the Central Region to enhance teaching and learning.

The initiative was specially implemented to complement the school’s newly benefited classroom block which was also aimed at boosting education in the community and its surrounding environs.

Assemblyman for the area, Mr. George Pobie stated that, the provision serves as great source of relief for students who were occupying a dilapidated structure and above all studying under uncomfortable circumstances.

He further revealed that the Member of Parliament for the area Hon. David Nana Larbie, also upon request  procured additional 20 dual desks to augment what the assembly had already provided, adding the Atwerebibianiha- Odumase DA School was the beneficiary of the MP’s initiative.

Mr. Pobie said he was looking forward to get the best of students in the schools and urged them to take proper care of what they received.

In other issues the assemblyman also called on the assembly to provide the community with streetlights to help minimize the increasing criminal activities such as theft, rape among others.
