The fire extensively damaged the dormitory, destroying the interior of the building and leaving only the walls standing. The affected students lost their uniforms, learning tablets, trunks, chop boxes and other personal belongings in the blaze.

A delegation led by the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Asunafo North, Hon. Joseph Akparibo, and the Municipal Director of NADMO, Mr Mohammed Bawa, presented relief items including blankets, cups, plates, soaps and 80 high-quality mattresses to help address the immediate needs of the affected students.

Addressing the students and staff, Hon. Akparibo assured them that the Government, through the Member of Parliament for Asunafo North, Hon. Haruna Mohammed, and the Municipal Assembly, was committed to constructing a new ultra-modern girls' dormitory to replace the one destroyed by the fire.

He encouraged the students to remain calm and focused on their education, urging them to stay disciplined despite the unfortunate incident.

Receiving the items on behalf of the school, the Headmaster, Mr James Tweneboah Koduah, expressed profound appreciation to the Municipal Assembly, the Member of Parliament and NADMO for their swift intervention and generous support.

He commended the stakeholders for their commitment to rebuilding the dormitory and supporting the affected students during the difficult period.

Mr Koduah reaffirmed the school's commitment to providing holistic and inclusive education that equips students with the knowledge, skills and values needed for responsible citizenship through a transparent and conducive learning environment that promotes excellence.
