The office of the Chereponi District Assembly in the Northern region has since 2008 been operating from a rented apartment with limited space to accommodate all the units in the assembly.

This condition has brought undue congestion to allow maximum convenience and comfort in enabling the smooth discharge of works by workers of the assembly.
 
Mr. Stephen Aduama Larbi, the District Co-ordinating Director for the assembly interacting with Ghanadistricts.com on this prevailing challenge in the assembly indicated that it was about time the assembly gets its own office complex that befits its status.

He said the acquisition of a permanent office facility to aid the efficient flow of operations is long overdue in the area, and therefore called for immediate attention to address the unfortunate condition.

But this notwithstanding Mr. Aduama revealed that arrangements are ongoing to secure a more dignified place that will ease the congestion in the assembly.
