CHEREPONI:Garinkuka, Samisah get new school blocks for JHS
The Chereponi District assembly in consultation with Ghana Education Service(GES) has yearned to put up some new school blocks in two communities of the district to assist absorb pupils into the Junior High School level(JHS) in these areas.

The Chereponi District assembly in consultation with Ghana Education Service(GES) has yearned to put up some new school blocks in two communities of the district to assist absorb pupils into the Junior High School level(JHS) in these areas.
The communities included Garinkuka and Samisah both suburbs of the Chereponi district.
The project however became necessary following the concerns by residents on the need to get a JHS that would essentially open up the basic school education in such communities and help boost the standard of education in the area.
District Chief Executive for the area, Alhaji Mohammed Seidu Issah Abbah highlighted this in his address during an assembly meeting held at Sawla, the district capital.
At Garinkuka the assembly was able to secure the 6 unit classroom block through the support of the Ghana Education Trust Fund(GETfund) whiles, at Samisah some resources was committed through the District Development Fund(DDF) to complete a standard 3 unit classroom block facility.
The assembly indicated that it has provided the infrastructure to facilitate the whole project so the Ghana Education Service would also procure the required materials for learning and also make arrangements to post teachers who would assist conduct lessons for the school children.
