The Internally Generated Fund (IGF) of the Atiwa District is steadily improving due to prudent measures put in place to check leakages, Mr. Emmanuel Atta Twum, Chief Executive for the Assembly (DCE), has said.
Addressing the Third Ordinary Meeting of the Third Session in Kwabeng, the DCE further indicated as at the end of October this year, a total of about GHs 118, 427.10 had been realized as against the estimated amount of GHs 83,747.00.
The amount, he said, represented 41.4 percent.
He said, though the assembly has made a significant improvement in its revenue generation, there was still the needs to improve on its revenue generation strategies to meet the districts increasing demands of developmental projects.
The DCE further charged members to assist the assembly financial department in reaching out to those who have not honoured their tax obligation in the area.
