Mr Bukari Zakaria Anaba, Tano South District Chief Executive (DCE) has assured the people that the assembly would complete all on-going project in the various communities to enhance their standard of living.
This he said could be achieved if the people pay their taxes promptly and regularly, to enable the assembly to generate enough funds to augment that of the District Assembly Common fund for development project.
Speaking to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) in an interview at Bechem, over the weekend, Mr Anaba reminded the people that the quantum of the District Assembly Common fund depended on how much the assembly could generate internally and that was why all tax payers in the area needed to honour their obligations.
The District Chief Executive stated that the Bechem town roads, district sports complex and the polyclinic being constructed at Techimantia, would all be completed by the end of 2014.
Other project include extension of electricity to Konkomba and Kubease communities at Derma, small town water supply for residents at old and new Bungalow, which on completion would benefit 10,000 residents.
Mr Anaba said the Dwomo community had been selected to benefit from the 50 Senior High School project to be constructed by the government under the better Ghana agenda phase two.
He commended the chiefs and people of Dwomo for allocating 42.3 acres of land for the project and assured that work on the project would start by the end of the year.
Mr Anaba noted that partisan politics had drawn back developments in the district and advised the people to bury their political differences and support government to develop the area.
