The District Chief Executive and National Democratic Congress’ Parliamentary candidate for Assin South Constituency, Mrs. Sabina Appiah Kubi has predicted victory in both the Presidential and Parliamentary election for the NDC.

Mrs. Appiah Kubi who is contesting the seat with the incumbent MP and a leading member of the main opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Professor Dominic Fobih, however expressed confidence that she was going to win the Parliamentary seat with a landslide victory.

She however noted that it will appear to her as a "big surprise" if the NPP should retain the Assin South seat in this year’s general election, arguing that the NDC has for the past few years transformed lives of many Ghanaians, hence will expect nothing than a massive win for the ruling party.

According to her, several projects and programmes were achieved under the "Better Ghana" agenda while serving as the DCE, adding that more of such projects will be executed when given the nod.

The DCE who was speaking in an interview with Ghanadistricts.com, however urged Ghanaians especially the electorate to remain vigilant and follow electoral rules and regulations to ensure a violent free election.
