Residents of Assin Awruso Electoral Area in the Assin South District of the Central Region have been provided with a 10- seater Water closet (WC) toilet facility to improve sanitation in the area.

The move was in line with the assembly’s effort to boost infrastructure in the District under the ruling NDC party’s “Better Ghana” agenda.

However the facility which stated some months ago has been completed and commissioned for use.

Mr. Samuel Asiedu, a Public Relation Officer for the assembly who was speaking in an interview with Ghanadistrict.com noted that the assembly has geared up its efforts to improve livelihood in the area.

He revealed that similar projects have been completed at the Assin Kyinso and Assin-Nkran Electoral Areas in the district.
