The first phase of the distribution benefited more than 500 farmers cultivating over 600 acres of farmland across the municipality.

Speaking at the presentation ceremony, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Hon. Wisdom Osei Boamah, expressed appreciation to the government for supporting efforts to improve agricultural productivity and enhance the livelihoods of farmers.

He urged the beneficiary farmers to apply the fertilizer appropriately to improve soil fertility and increase crop yields.

Hon. Boamah also encouraged the farmers to expand their farming activities to boost food production and contribute to the economic development of the municipality and the country.

The initiative forms part of the government's efforts to strengthen the agricultural sector, promote food security and provide farmers with the necessary inputs to improve productivity.
