The work plan and other measures to help gear up the implementation of the Street Naming and Property Numbering Systems in the Builsa North district in the Upper East region are at the moment secured.

Information available at the desk of the assembly disclosed that works are on course in the district regarding this important project being implemented nationwide.

A team of experts were brought in outside the district to embark on some capacity building and orientation for the purpose of equipping and tooling the committee that will oversee the successful operations on the project, whiles an office accommodation is also renovated for the smooth take off of administrative procedures on the project.

As a matter of fact it believed the deadline set for the completion of the project by the President across-board in the various MMDAs will be met by the Assembly.

The Street Naming and Property Numbering Policy is aimed at harmonization consistency, efficiency and standardization of street addressing system in the various Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies (MMDAs), as well as increase revenue and improve urban management.
