ASUOGYAMAN:DCE cuts sod for culvert at Apeguso
The Asuogyaman District Assembly has supported the Apeguso community with 25 bags of cement and 20 iron rods for the construction of Apeguso Clinic culvert to enhance smooth movement of goods and services.

The Asuogyaman District Assembly has supported the Apeguso community with 25 bags of cement and 20 iron rods for the construction of Apeguso Clinic culvert to enhance smooth movement of goods and services.
Aside, the assembly is also providing technical support and any other requirements needed for smooth completion of the project.
The community on the other hand is providing communal labour, gravels and sand.
At the sod cutting ceremony for the commencement of the project, District Chief Executive for Asuogyaman, Thomas Ampem Nyarko commended the people for the communal spirit towards developing the area.
He announced that the assembly has come out with a policy to assist communities that will initiate their own development projects to accelerate development. Under the policy, the assembly has put aside 30 percent each of common fund (DACF), district development facility (DDF), and 5 percent towards assisting self help projects.
The DCE said under his administration, he would not tolerate delays usually suffered by projects, adding that he will ensure continues development of the area. The streetlights in the area are all malfunctioning, the DCE of repairing them in due course to improve security in the area and to enable people who want to engage in legal businesses at night.
Meanwhile, the DCE on behalf of the assembly presented 2 creates each of beer and coke, a create each of malt and guiness, I box of schnapps and a ram to the bereaved family and the entire traditional Council following the death of Nana Adwoa Oduarah II, queen mother of Apegusu.
He expressed condolence to the people asking them to rekindle the spirit of togetherness in order to work for the growth of the area.
