Plans are underway for the construction of Yeniama Junction to Gyakiti road, the District Chief Excutive, Thomas Ampem Nyarko has disclosed.

He said road networks in the district has to be improved to help bring a sigh of relief to the people of the area since that would facilitatethe movement of people, goods and services especially foodstuffs to market centres.

Mr Nyarko also pledged to work hard to ensure the successful completion of the Apeguso to Anyansu road which has been awarded on contract for bitumen surfacing at the cost of one million and seventy four Ghana cedis (GHs1,074,000.00).

on street naming exercise, the DCE said following government’s blue print on this exercise, the assembly has to identify prominent personalities in the communities who have distinguished themselves to enhance the exercise. the exercise he noted is important for effective planning of the communities.
