The West Gonja District Assembly is adding a standard infrastructure in the form of a classroom block facility to Jafo primary school under the implementation of government’s myriads of intervention initiated in the education sector to promote quality education in the area.

The 3 unit classroom block project is being facilitated amidst other fine projects by the Assembly through the District Development Fund (DDF) to assist in giving leverage to pupils of the beneficiary school to also boost their academic laurels comparative to their colleagues in the urban areas.

The Assembly has revealed that the project currently ongoing in the beneficiary school is progressing smoothly with contractors showing much commitment to finish off works within the scheduled period.

However, the Assembly has indicated to Ghanadistricts.com that rolling up such a project was crucial in its determination to give a facelift to education and ostensibly make the implementation of the “Better Ghana” agenda programme meaningful in the lives of the ordinary residents in the district.
