Work is almost completed on the construction of a six unit classroom block at Hiawa in the Wassa Amenfi West District Assembly in the Western Region to improve teaching and learning in the area. 

However, the facility was part of assembly’s effort to provide permanent classroom for pupils who were previously studying under a makeshift structure.

The District Chief Executive, Victor Samuel K. Mesu who made this known to Ghanadistricts.com noted that works on the facility had reached an appreciable level with only few works left to be done.

He was optimistic that the facility will go a long way to ensure its intended purpose of giving education a befitting facelift in the area.

However, in other related developments, the assembly has also constructed a new water supply system at Asankran Breman to improve potable water supply in the area.
